CareerBliss, a job search Web site with more than three million available jobs, released data Tuesday on the best and worst cities to find a job, ranking the cities on employee happiness, unemployment trends and job availability.
December 6, 2012 - Dayton is the third fasting-growing metro areas for high-tech jobs in the country.
From 2010 to 2011, the Dayton area saw a 24.2 percent increase in the number of high- tech jobs created, and was the third largest increase in the United States only behind Greensboro, NC and Columbia, SC. The average growth in technology jobs across the country was 2.6 percent and the average growth for Ohio was 4.6 percent. Dayton added over 3,500 high-tech jobs during this time period.
